The next morning we woke up late to find ourselves in a paradise in the mountains. Before we headed up to Querforedat, Montse and David took us back into Puigcerda to a wine bar. The bar is run by las viejas del pueblo (the old women of the town) and is the watering hole for many locals. It is here where one might come to get the table wines for lunch and dinner. From wall to wall there are casks of different kinds of wines to choose from. We filled up our glasses with Vermouth con gas (soda water) and toasted to the good company.
