This year, the Avignon Film Festival recognizes John Turturro as a talented and accomplished actor and director. The Avignon Film Festival is taking another look at three of his films including Illuminatta, Barton Fink, and Romance and Cigarettes. At this year's festival, Romance and Cigarettes was screened for the first time with French subtitles. John Turturro is this years recipient of Le prix Chateaunuef and will receive a case of Chateaunuf-du-Pape wine every year for ten years.
