Chocolate Jesus
The Roger Smith Hotel experienced a moment of blasphemy in the spring of 2007. A sculpture, created by artist Casimo Cavellaro, known as “My Sweet Lord” was to be shown at the Lab Gallery on the corner of 47th street and Lexington Avenue in New York City during holy week. William Donahue of the Catholic League boycotted the sculpture causing the show to be cancelled. |
