The Alchemy of Love, Part III: Earth

Whereas Water retrieved the lost bride of the gospels from the collective unconscious, the third installation of The Alchemy of Love honors the dominance of the female in nature. In this element, the five chapters of the blog-novel, track the new paradigm Great Round of life/death/decay/rebirth in the seasonal cycle.

A multimedia, multilevel exhibition celebrating life, Earth recounts an archetypal visit to Real World while penetrating visual patterns in nature, such as the anthill, the mating habits of wild turkeys, the pollination of a flower and the cow as mother.

The centerpiece of this alchemical conjunctio, or mystical marriage, will be the Summer Solstice, when the sun enters the sign of Cancer at 2:07 PM on June 21. At that time a ritual will be performed in the gallery honoring the authentic face of the feminine in art forms reflecting a 21st century cosmology.
